“I absolutely love The Charleston Inn! There is a peanut jar to feed the Inn Squirrels. I had the best sleep. Everything is within walking distance. It was just perfect! Alicia and the Innkeeper are so kind (Patricia.)”

“They are lovely friendly people. Breakfast was delicious.... even have a menu where you can choose specific options... all top quality! The large home has a library full of books, puzzles, etc. to entertain. It is decorated with nostalgic furniture, art, and antiques. Plenty of parking. Close to multiple restaurants. I love the cool and shady front porch with rockers and porch swing. It's great for reading! Free drinks and appetizers at 5 pm were a great addition! My only complaint was...

“What a wonderful place. So peaceful and quiet. Our host and hostess Sheila and James were so welcoming. The Inn was absolutely gorgeous. All of the artwork, furnishings. Truly took us back to another time. Our room was so comfortable, it had more than everything we needed. We only wish we could stay another night but we had a graduation to attend . We will most certainly go back to Whole Hearts again.”

“Well stocked breakfast items, especially for self serve. Keurig in kitchen and in each room. Bathrobes in each room with plenty of towels and blankets. Very clean and newly renovated. Great to have a front porch and two back decks to enjoy. Would be great to have owner answer the phone rather than just text and email. The double owl room has a very squeaky bed. Need to repair or replace.”

“Staff very accomodating. I had a bit of difficulty climbing the stairs. And would have liked a tv in my room. But breakfast was great. I basically had the place to myself!”

“We really enjoyed our stay in Tryon. Lavender Hill is nestled in a cozy neighborhood with lots of privacy, just a short walk to town. Loved the eclectic decor and the artwork was an added treat. The only thing I missed was a regular kuerig type coffee maker. We would definitely stay there again. Ro was a gracious host!”

“The perfect spot for our weekend golf trip with the boys. Plenty of games and entertainment for everyone to hangout and have fun. The beds were really comfortable and everything was clean. We plan to come back next year.”
