Will stay here again!

We had a wonderful experience at Legacy by the Sea. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect. the room was just what we needed. I would recommend the hotel to anyone. My only complant was the not so confortable beds. However, you are on vacation...everything else we went to Panama city for was what really mattered, great ocean view, heated pool, hot tub, great beach, friendliest staff!

Great beach front hotel!!

Legacy by the Sea is a great hotel. Within walking distance or short drive to the new beautiful Pier Park that has many, many shops and restaurants. All hotel rooms are ocean front with spacious sitting area and separate bedroom. Each suite has full size kitchen appliances (stove, microwave, refrigerator). Continental breakfast seating area is very small. But free breakfast (cereal, muffins, oatmeal, fruit) so I shouldn’t complain. I promise you will not be disappointed with this hotel and as a bonus the great price.

Must visit nearby Pier Park. You can easily spend a relaxing afternoon here.

Definately Going Back!

OK let’s get the negative out of the way: Parking! It wasn’t too bad when we were there, but if you go when it’s busy and you get a good parking spot, rent scooters or bicycles so you can leave your car there! That being said, everything else was positive. All suites have a Gulf view... our room was on the 12th floor, and the view was spectacular! My recommendation would be to get a suite on one of the higher floors, as the bedrooms are on the street-side and traffic can be a bit noisy at times. We took groceries and did quite a bit of cooking in the fully equipped kitchen which saved us a ton of money. We did find the Barefoot Beach Club next door to be very affordable (unless you plan on having a few drinks) with great food and an open-air view of the beach. Other restaurants are within walking distance, as is the new Pier Park. The Legacy’s heated pool area was clean with nice landscaping all around. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the front desk attendant. She saved me after I screwed up the dates when I booked on Expedia (oops!) . The rooms were cleaned and the bathroom was re-stocked with fresh towels every day. On a minor note, the continental breakfast was a bit lacking. I cooked breakfast just about every morning in the room (I found it relaxing... believe it or not!) Bottom line: When considering the price, The Legacy exceeded my expectations. I’m looking forward to next year!
