Impressed

I was extremely impressed with the double tree resort on international dr. in orlando. The entire compound that the buildings were on were well upkept and there was consent security patrols during the night making you feel very well secured and could enjoy your stay worry free. Also the location is fantastic they are less then half a mile away from seaworld and have a specific path from the resort compound to seaworld for you to walk and dont have to pay for more parking. In all the service was great the rooms were clean, and i would mostly like go back there if i go to orlando again.

One downfall

Having to pay $8.00 a night to park at your hotel I though was a little over the top. But as you will experience in Orlando youhave to pay to park just about everywhere.

Newly renovated hotel should be a 5 star hotel but rated a 3 star

Hotel was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel. Need a car for sure but it’s on the best street full of restaurants to eat at.

Newly Renovated and Beautiful

Stayed there is a room with 2 double beds. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Staff was very friendly. Pools were clean and my son like the kiddy pool. grounds are well maintained. Takes about 5-10 min to walk to the entrance of seaworld. Will def look into staying at this hotel again. Yes you have to pay for internet in your room but if you go to the main pool with the waterfall they have free wifi there and nice tables to sit at.

Perfect Location For All Sightseeing!

I must admit, I was a bit disappointed to get to the area where my room was, after checking in to the beautiful lobby of the main hotel; however, I quickly realized that the interior of the room is what mattered. It was clean. comfortable and hassel-free to get towels, etc. from the friendly cleaning staff. I would recommend this hotel.

Wouldn’t Stay Here Ever Again

This hotel might be good after all the renovations, but not now. First we went there specifically because it was right next to Seaworld. They have a path that goes right to the park, but it doesn’t do much good when they pad lock the gate and don’t come to unlock it. I had to walk around the gate of the hotel on busy streets with no sidewalk with a stroller. Then I jumped the gate to get back in just to save time from walking all the way around. The room was cheep, but everything else wasn’t. They leave out that parking is $8 a day and to use the internet is a minimum of $5 for the first 10 minutes and $.20 a minute thereafter. I was expecting to see a pay lock on the bathroom too. It was raining while we were there and water was leaking through the window. There were repair men all over the building fixing things. The elevator floor was being re-tiled so only 1 elevator was operational the whole time we were there. I would never stay at this hotel ever again no matter how good the deal was.

Excellent Choice

The hotel is lovely and our room was gorgeous. We had an easy time getting to and from Disney in our rental car and we walked to Seaworld.

Great room

Me and my wife were staying there for 2 day of our honeymoon. It was a very nice hotel. The rooms where very clean and neat. We told the front desk that we just got married and we had fruit and a bottle of wine in the room when we got in. It was really nice of them to do that. We weren’t expecting it. The area is very quiet and it is very close to restaurants and outlet malls which you can catch a trolley to almost everything. Our 2 days there was very nice and we would stay there again. The rates were great also.

Good Choice for Visiting Sea World

The room is pretty new and big enough for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). We stayed at building 5 at the back of the hotel. It is closer to the back entrance which leads to the 10 minutes walk to Sea World so it was very convinence for us since we didn’t have a car. We like the hotel and the room. The only complain is the bathroom tends to be a bit small and need some upgrade. Anyway, the bathroom is not much bigger when we later stayed in Disney Coronado Springs Resort. I think it is probably the standard bathroom size for moderate price hotel. If we still can get the same rate, we will definitely stay there again next time and spend more days in Sea World and the water park.

We bought the 2 parks ticket (Sea World and Aquatica) on line for $89.99 each person (same price for kids and adult if you purchase 7 days in advance). The ticket is good for 14 consecutive days.

Great location for visiting Seaworld. About a 5 minute walk. Restaurant has great burgers. Nice pools.

Hair on Pillows/Floor

I arrived at this lovely property thinking this would be great. I check into my room only to see hair on the pillows & on the bathroom floor. I go to the front desk (they were very pleasant) to request another room and a couple is complaining about the same problem. Needless to say 2 room changes later, I was satisfied and able to enjoy my stay. Loved the pool with the bar. If you dont have kids you may want to choose a different hotel as this hotel is very family friendly and was full of kids. I would recommend the hotel getting a better washing/cleaning service.

Not to far from the outlets and mall. You can also hit the other end of International Drive and choose from a variety of restaurants.

My daughter and I stayed here on a recent trip to Sea World. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Room Service was fast and had a kid friendly selection. Both Sea World and Aquatica were within walking distance. It was actually faster and easier to walk back to the hotel than deal with the end of day traffic at the parks. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing. We had a lot of fun with the miniature golf course. It is small, but made for a nice after dinner activity after a long day at the parks. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Sea World.

terrible housekeeping and service

When I saw this hotal at the website the first time I thought it was nice but It was the worst hotel I ever been !! when I arrived they never helped me with my luggages even I asked for it, the asigned me a back not very clean entrance room , my room was never clean they only do the beds!!!!! The bathtub and the furnitures had stains for 3 days they never bother to clean and the worst thing I had to pay the parking fee $8.00 dollar per day plus taxes. I do not really recomend this hotel to anybody

Our family loved this hotel/resort.We had a wonderful experience.We stayed two nights, we wish it was longer. The room was beautiful and very clean and the staff was very friendly!My kids enjoyed the pools and miniature putt-putt golf area and you can walk to seaworld from the gate in the back of the resort.The restaurant and bar is great, it very modern and really pretty.Kids eat free for the breakfast buffet and its wonderful,lots of choices.I didn’t get a chance to go to the spa there but, its in the plans for the next trip.We loved our stay!!

Great Place Near Sea World

The hotel appearance and grounds are beautiful. As guests we had access to three pools, hot tub and other nice amenities such as miniture golf, game room and restaurants right on the resort. The shuttles to go to the amusement parks did not run frequently. You were locked in to three times throughout the day. There is an I-Ride Trolley right outside of the hotel that claims to run every 20 mins to take you down International Drive, but we didn’t find that true.

There are tons of restaurants on International Drive to eat. Utilize those restaurants, because the restaurant on the resort is good but can be pricey.

Wrong Bed

Upon a late check in the room did not have the king bed requested, and it stated king on my confrmation as well. Was moved to a smoking room, that smelled really bad and did nt have a fridge. They could not move me into another room until the next day. Having to move almmost 3 times at 11 pm at night is not pleasant. Ending up staying in the smelly room and requested that they bring at the least the fridge. Overall it was advertised with free wireless internet, which the hotel charges for. and the self parking fee’s are rediculus. The bar at night was nice, however the bartender, was not very attentive and not familiar how to mix even simple drinks. Accomodations were reasonably priced, but too many small fees for items that should be included in your stay. Front desk staff not very knowledgable either, there was too much confusion.

the hotel grounds were beautiful and the room we stayed in was perfect. i stayed in the tower because the reviews on here suggested that was the best part of the hotel to stay in. the air conditioning was perfect and refreshing since it was so hot in the parks all day.

go to the place right across from the main entrance for breakfast. it was cheap and good.
