Days Inn North Dallas

Very Dissappointed

While the hotel seemed nice,front desk service was wonderful,and was a nice quiet stay,other issues were involved. We stayed in a non-smoking room but the hall way reeked of smoke. We had to slam the door and recheck it because the door wouldn’t shut completely nor lock so that was a safety issue to us. Other than those issues, it was ok.

Right service and comfort for the price

Excellent location, comfort, cleanliness, breakfast, corteous people, everything right for the price.

Rundown hotel

I stayed at the Days Inn North Dallas a few weeks ago for about 3 days...was not impressed. We were given a smoking room despite requesting otherwise. Luckily, once we reported this to the front desk, they moved us to a non-smoking room. Our coffee maker didn’t work. We had to request another. There are no elevators, which made things difficult, and I was witness to quite a few other guests engaging in what appeared to be questionable activities. However, the staff was friendly and cordial, so I must give points for that.

Motel was very nice for one night.

it was so- so

the first floor of the hotel was fine, they need to vaccuum the second floor hallway of the hotel. I had to get after them to pick up the trash that was stored in a room that used to be a vending machine room. the trash barrel at the bottom of the stairs next to the exit of the hotel never moved and was never emptied in the 3 1/2 days I was there. The room was nice but with the hallways dirty it didnt matter.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

I wont be back, I will check out another Days Inn in Dallas

Good for my needs

Hotel was under construction while I was there. However, workers did not disturb me and I think when finished it will be nicer. Hotel was suited to my needs, fairly inexpensive and close to my meetings. Highway access was a bit strange.

Shabby Motel and Not Impressed

Older facility that has not been updated or well maintained. Carpets had several stains, parking lot had alot of weeds and somewhat difficult to reach since it is along a one-way access road next to expressway.

Better than O.K.

This was just slightly better than an ok hotel room, assuming that you’re not looking for much. Everything was pretty well cleaned in the room daily, although I did notice that they were not supplying new shampoo. Instead they just refilled old shampoo containers...evident by seeing the tamper resistant sticker broken on each bottle. The WiFi took a bit of tweaking. Everytime I used it I had to go into my settings and manually set an DHCP address. The television was a very old CRT, with the picture tube fading on the edges. The only other complaint I had was that the A/C kept going off in the middle of the night. Although this was during a particularly hot time, so I’m not sure if it could be considered a"Brown-Out". All in all the hotel was Good enough for what I needed...

Great service, close to Dallas

Hotel staff was excellent at check in and check out. Wireless internet worked flawlessly.
