While everyone else attending the conference I was in town for stayed across the street in small rooms with dated interiors, I had a gorgeous modern room with lots of space and clean lines. The interior design of the hotel is modern but with a gracious nod the 1920's/30's. The speakeasy below the hotel is a great place for a drink, and the attached coffee shop makes one of the best hot chocolates I have had in a long time. The staff is friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The lobby areas were comfortable enough to want to curl up with a book in one of the many little nooks. Would definitely stay here again if I was in Kansas City.

The staff was amazing, everything from valet to front desk attendants.
I don't know if someone can contact me with this information, but the bed was so amazingly comfortable that my fiancé is dying to know the brand and style so we can buy one of our own.

The hotel was fine except they cleaning staff did just an ok job. They came very late and left dirty glasses, etc. in the room. The bathroom amenities were sparse. I was at a large tournament and they did not have enough help in the lounge in the evening when everyone was in there.

"Nice hotel with good location to Kaufmann Center."
Hampton Inns never let me down in terms of cleanliness and comfort of the rooms and the hotel staff are always friendly and helpful. I chose this Hampton Inn for it's location to the Kaufmann Center and Union Station. I was able to Uber easily to the places I wanted to go. I only had one problem and it was with the valet parking. The valet got ink on the leather on the console of my car. They did a great job of working until they got it cleaned off. The manager of the parking company came to apologize for the inconvience and did not charge me for the valet parking.

I had made an error and accidentally booked my hotel stay for the wrong day, and the staff at the hotel couldn't have been more accommodating of my error. The hotel itself is very nice. The only reason I give it four stars is because I believe that the room could have been a bit cleaner, but overall, it was an excellent stay and I will be coming here again!
