“It looked pretty new and the room was big and clean. There were always snacks in the lobby area which was nice. There was a small box of Christopher Elbow chocolate in the room as a welcoming gift and we enjoyed it. ”

“I didn’t hate my stay, but I didn’t love it either. Our first night was a bit overwhelming. We were out most of the evening and returned around 11:00 p.m. to a completely packed bar. It felt more like walking into a nightclub than a hotel lobby—people everywhere and extremely loud. We thought we’d check out the rooftop bar to see if it was quieter, but as soon as the elevator doors opened, we turned right back around and called it a night. Unfortunately, the bed was uncomfortable, and the……

“This was a very clean hotel. Breakfast was good and it was only 3 minutes from Children's Mercy. The shower was fantastic! Great water pressure and a good shower head. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because the beds were horrible. Not just in our room, but also our daughter and granddaughter said they didn't sleep well because the bed was so uncomfortable. We had king beds in both rooms, so I can't speak for the queen beds.”

“Overall the place was beautiful and I loved my first room but unfortunately the ac was not working properly n the technician wasn’t able to fix it so we were moved to another room which was much smaller n less comfortable and also had an air conditioning problem because at that point it apparently was a hotel wide issue so it was very hard to sleep because it was stuffy in the rooms”
