“My room and surrounding area was dirty with wasp and crickets inside. The murphy bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. They claimed it to be a presidential suite, however you have to move furniture around just to lay the bed down. The linens were stained and the shower was disgusting with mold and build up inside. We requested a new room multiple times and was denied every time except the last day they told us we could upgrade for 300 more dollars when we already paid 800 plus……

“Overall stay was good, we didn’t get to sit outside our cottage due to red wasps, informed the staff and they just bought us a can of wasp spray so we can kill them ourselves, we also had ants in our shower, we saw many wasp nest around the cabin old ones but they were there. There was an empty dr pepper bottle and a napkin or paper on the side of the cottage with a water hose just there the whole weekend.( it wasn’t our trash) the blue blanket in our cottage had a bleach stain on it. The trash……

“This was such a unique find! The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. We stayed in cabin 6 and had a great view of the creek. The pool at the sister hotel was perfect for our kids to jump in and cool off. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. The room was crisp and clean. The staff was so accommodating through text from the initial booking all the way through until checkout time. I highly recommend if you're looking for a weekend away in the hill country.”

“The town of Comfort has great small town vibes taking a person’s memory back to simpler times. We celebrated July 4th here and Hotel Giles was the perfect place to be. The hotel is close to a few eating establishments and very walkable to them. This hotel is clean and historic with very unique rooms. There is a cool courtyard for guests to enjoy. Breakfast was outstanding and served in the Carriage House in the courtyard area. All staff were very nice and helpful. Great experience and……

“The host answered quickly when we called to ask about the check-in process. Beautiful view! So peaceful and quiet! Loved sitting on the porch watching the deer, hummingbirds, and butterflies! Hot tub was nice and relaxing!”
