“We stayed in the Maryland cabin and it was really nice. Clean. Plenty of room. Very nice view from the covered back porch. Will definitely be back!”

“Overall the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Only complaint was the installation of a new thermostat for the room. It did not work (unless you wanted a/c only) the heat would not come on and the thermostat was complicated. Front desk staff did not know how to work the new thermostat. They were very kind and apologized. I just wish the hotel had made an attempt at training their staff before subjecting the guests to this new system. ”

Although we arrived several hours early, we were graciously welcomed the moment we stepped in (still dressed in summer clothes from a much warmer climate than the 5° temperature!). The friendly staff and owner, Mr. Monahan, made us feel immediately at home. Maggie at the front desk kindly explained the history of the building while escorting us through the impressive hall,……
