“The pictures on the site do not represent the reality of this hotel. It’s currently very run down and in need of lots of work. We stayed for 3 nights, we only had 3 towels and although we asked for more twice, were not given any and they weren’t changed during our stay. The bathroom looked new but unfinished. There was nowhere to put shampoo etc. in the shower, the floor was slippy (I bought a rubber mat for them) the toilet flush was dodgy and neither the fan or light above the mirror worked.……

“Room was nice,individual and very comfortable. Breakfast was great but my Sunday lunch beef was a bit tough but I think it was one of the last portions to be served. Everything else was really good.”

“Super clean. Cozy bed. Restaurant under the hotel. Right on the main street walkable to everything, the beach and other restaurants. I was glad there was a fan as I had a room on the front of the hotel and the evening sun was streaming in. Without the fan I wouldn't have slept at all in the heat. I was overcharged for dinner. The menu said salmon was 17 pounds but they charged me 21. They also added a 10% tip. I just found it to be predatory to tourists when that is their business.”

“If you like Harry Potter, then you’ll like the accommodation, as there is a strong Harry Potter theme running throughout. That said, the cleanliness of the room occupied was at best ok while shelf space was extremely limited. Breakfast was a two-part affair, split between a cold buffet and a limited selection of hot food from the breakfast menu. The buffet was poorly provisioned when it comes to the likes of pastries, fresh fruit and yogurts with such items either lacking in variety or quantity,……
