“The staff was lovely and very helpful. The breakfast menu and options were delightful and delicious. My husband recommends the Smoke trout and eggs. we loved the authenticity of our experience. The location was fantastic It was a very short walk to the ocean and we thoroughly enjoyed all the lovely people and their beautiful dogs. Very dog friendly town. ”

“Superb location and venue. Delightful pub with top cask ale and the food was sublime. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff were highly friendly and attentive. The only negative was the electric shower which was very temperamental and low pressure. A real treat though overall.”

“This centrally located hotel is perfect for a trip in or around Morpeth. We were a group of four in two rooms. The rooms were large and spacious, and the beds comfortable and clean. The rooms and public areas would benefit from some decoration as they detract from the fantastic customer service the staff offers. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we were in the area”

“Mandy rang us to ask what time we would expect to be there on the day, then met us as we parked up. Mandy was very friendly and warm. There were fresh cakes and coffee/tea when you are in the reception, you help yourself. Everything was spotless. The room was amazing, under floor heating in the bathroom was a treat. The bed was so comfy. The breakfast was perfect, the french toast was epic, you won't need lunch, the portion was a great size. I would recommend the home made granola, delicious.……

“Friendly staff, nice breakfast, unfortunately no hot water for the whole weekend. Staff kept saying it was repaired but that wasn't the case. The weekend, was cold and wet so no hot shower was pretty grim.”
