“We had a lovely stay at the Oaks. The staff were all very helpful, and the food was delicious in the bar in the evening, and the breakfast was also great!
The car park was always busy, but we were always able to find a space.”
“Good location but although there is parking to the rear the arch to get through was very narrow and you could see plenty of paint from scratched cars. The room was ok but was right next to the A/c unit outside which was on and off all night. Shower was quite small. There was no breakfast provided of possible to have there which is a shame.”
“We were a family of 3 plus a cockapoo staying in The Tweed. The room was perfect for us. Loved the decor and attention to detail. It was nice to sit in the sun in the morning in the little garden with a coffee and listen to the birds.
We had dinner and breakfast in the pub. The food was ok but the service could have been better. We booked in advance and were seated straight away but we found nobody came over to ask if we wanted drinks and we ended up having to stand in the queue at the bar.……
“Beautiful room with lots of lovely touches including the cookies and the cafeteria coffee. The choice of breakfast was really good and the coffee was great. The staff were attentive and very welcoming and gave us good suggestions of where to go and where was good to eat. A very special place we hope to go back soon.
