“Loved the cottage lovely and spacious loved the jacuzzi and log fire .And the welcome pack was lovely.The fridge and freezer were big and there was evrything you needed.Only thing that let it down was the heating it was cold on a morning and evening with no heating on in other rooms .Had to turn oven on to heat the kitchen up.It was hive heating with no instructions on how to use it.Due to this we wouldnt stay again which is a shame because we really enjoyed everything about it”

“Lovely, beautiful little old fashioned lodge for self-catering tucked away behind thick gardens abutted to a lovely old building on the outskirts of Alnwick. Its self-catering and had everything we needed, including good TV choice for the evenings and a strong wi-fi (in the lounge but not in kitchen). We just felt so at ease and relaxed in the evenings there. It may not be for everybody, say for example, those that like things to look modern. But for us with an eye to more homely back-in-the-day……

“Craster Reach was the most wonderful home from home and the comms from the team running it were fantastic. We even got an in-person visit an hour after we’d arrived to check everything was ok. It was spotlessly clean, pet and family-friendly and the views from all rooms were incredible. I already miss waking up to see the castle on the horizon (and the pub being all of 50 yards away)! The gift bags for the dogs were a lovely touch.”
