“I stayed here for a girls weekend over Mother's Day. My room's bathroom doors didn't close so had to call in Maintenance to fix it. No signage on the property to help you get around so that made it difficult to find your way if you're only there a few days. Room service food arrived barely warm and was mediocre, meat was overcooked, shrimp in the ceviche was sliced in half so you got fewer shrimp but made to look abundant; lots of lemonade flavors but the ones we tried were so sour we couldn't……

“This was our first time staying at the Colony Palms and it definitely won’t be the last! The hotel is perfectly located, just 1 street off the main strip but close to many great restaurants. It’s just the right amount of quiet and because we were here on the Memorial Day holiday, there was also the right amount of festive buzz. The restaurant that sets across from the pool is so charming and the decor is beautiful. The food was not the best we’ve had, but because the environment is so wonderful……

“We previously attempted to communicate directly with the property manager about our concerns, but didn’t receive any response. Below are the issues we experienced:
During check-in, issues with the front door lock and access code after traveling 14+ hours and it being 100+ degrees outside (poor communication);
Garbage left in guest bedroom dresser (McDonald’s cup with liquid);
All nightstands dusty and dirty;
Hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner bottles empty or nearly empty in guest……
