The only negative of this hotel was the air conditioning - the system is controlled by the staff and it is shared between rooms. For some reason the staff turn of the air conditioning on our third night and we had to go downstairs at midnight to have them turn it back on.

This hotel was exceptional, we booked a junior suite and got a very lovely upgrade to the Metropolitan suite!!! The room was incredible, it even had a piano!! The air-conditioning was top-notch. The bed was super comfortable and the lounge area was very relaxing. We had complimentary water and a bottle of sparkling wine as part of our stay. The buffet breakfast each morning had a good variety and was good quality. The fab fusion bar was also very good value and a lot of choice. A lovely outdoor patio area in the sunshine for drinks was very relaxing after a busy day exploring the city. We would highly recommend this hotel, it was wonderful.

Amber Design Residence is a beautiful place to stay, perfectly located in Krakow’s Old Town—just a short walk from the main square, yet peaceful and quiet. The rooms were spotless, the bathrooms modern and stylish, and the staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard, which was such a nice bonus. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back!
