“So I don't ask for much in a cheap motel but it should be clean and maintained. The negative- no room number on the door no hand soap in bathroom sink soap dispenser in shower. Hasn't been used in years. - empty. Toilet paper dispenser - empty roll in it, 1 -3/4 full roll on back of toilet tank bathroom vent very dirty with dust. ac unit very dirty with dust. shower floor non slip strips missing and in disrepair/ need new ones laid down sheets were surely not changed . found black……

“We had a couple of golf days in the area and very nice. Every room super clean and such a neat property. Great job on remodel of an old church! We will definitely book again. Craig was awesome to work with!!!”

“Between the price and the location, it was perfect! The host was great. My family loved the house and the location. I recommend this property and would stay again!”

“This is a hole in the wall inn. Very quaint and simple. I am not one looking for large rooms or a lot of amenities. We look for a clean room, comfortable bed, safe surroundings, and a nice hot shower. There is a bar/restaurant attached to the Inn, but the 2 nights we stayed, there was no problems. Very nice place to stay.”

“Staff was friendly. Pool gets a lot of use.”

“Hotel location was convenient and easy to access. The pool and hot tub are a nice feature. The rooms were small for a family of 6 to fit in. There was a strong air freshener smell through the lobby and hallways. Breakfast was adequate with hot & cold options. The hotel is showing signs of age and wear. This was a 1 night stop on our travels. We would not stay here again.”

“I liked the rustic look. The only thing I didn't like was the banging of the door when individuals headed out to the firepits. It shook the whole wall where my headboard was located.”

“Very helpful and flexible staff”

“Our host Jeff was highly responsive! The property is beautiful and had everything we needed. Amazing kitchen, plenty of utensils and cooking items, a grill, etc. SO many towels, blankets, plenty of paper products, etc. Instructions were very clear. We were right by the pool and playground. Plenty of toys, games and puzzles for the kids. Plenty of space for 10 people to have sit down meals. Lastly, the patio has lots of seating and a great view of the golf course with a protective net……

“We enjoyed it very much, it was exactly what we anticipated and really enjoyed the hot tub and my teens and husband both caught fish on the lake 🎣. The mattresses are new and comfortable and love the modern updates like lamps and kitchen shelves and lighting.”

“This is a cute little place out in the country. Communication with the hostess was good.”

“Easy check in, helpful staff, very clean room, nice size. .Breakfast not that good, only hot thing was waffles.”

“Everything was great! It was a great weekend break with the family!”

“We loved our stay for our annual family vacation! There are a lot of us and we had plenty of room. The 3rd bathroom was so nice to have! Bring an air mattress for the basement, it's a great space and would be a perfect cool dark sleeping area. There is plenty of seating and parking. Being able to bring the dogs was a huge help. The county park is close for a great day on the beach. Tubing is just down the street and a ton of fun. Highly recommend The Garage Bar!”

“Place was spacious and could accommodate a big group of people. Downside is the shower is acting up. Water needs more pressure.”

“Very nice property.”
