The hotel is in a quiet environment with beautiful trees and green lawns. We booked a room for 4 people, and it was pretty spacious when we walked in. The purpose of our stay was for the daughter’s graduation ceremony at UW, so it was around a 20 minute drive away from campus (a little far but not a problem if you have a car). There’s a Kwik Trip and car wash conveniently located next to the hotel. For food, there’s also a Culver’s and an Arby’s located nearby. The hotel also has your standard hotel breakfast, which doesn’t have much variety but it’s a great free amenity, if you don’t want to travel for food. Highly recommend for travelers.

I stayed here when my daughter was graduating with a master's degree at Madison on a very busy weekend. I was lucky to find this simple, clean hotel just a short drive from the university without all of the construction and parking issues. I really just needed a place to sleep and change in between graduation festivities, but it was very clean and the room was great. I didn't have a chance to make use of any of the amenities because I was so busy with family things, but I enjoyed a lovely run one morning on the Capitol Trail (a nearby walking and biking trail that was a short drive away), and found the staff to be very pleasant. All in all, a great deal if you're in the area for a Badgers game or other event and want a quiet, very reasonably priced place to relax that's a little outside the fray.
