“I had to call him 3 times to come down and check me in. Didn’t start out good.A place to rest your head.We didn’t touch the breakfast.Not so appealing.”

“Property smelled and looked fresh. Ample room amenities and breakfast choices. We were happy with our short stay! The only small negative was the fitness room being very small and needing a little attention. (Bike and water machine didn’t work). We appreciated the local coffee shop nearby.”

“My room was super clean. For an older motel it was painted and fresh and new looking and I live parking right in front of my door. The property had baskets of flowers at each door which were stunning. A wonderful touch and the pricing was extremely good considering being the the lakes area of NW Iowa. Will definitely recommend to others and stay again when I'm in the area.”

“Great stay! They did not provide standard-sized pillows (they were small square ones) so if that’s a deal breaker for you, I would bring your own.”

“The staff was very welcoming and available. We enjoyed a drink at the bar later in the evening. The bartender ensured we were happy with our drinks! The breakfast room was a long way from our room and there was a problem with the decaf coffee - a minor inconvenience. The pool was even further away but, we ended up with no extra time to swim anyway. Our rooms were comfortable and clean.”

“Pleasant and comfortable from check in to spacious room, to nice fridge and freezer, towels variety of hot and cold breakfast items which included a microwave.”

“Wifi and television did not connect so we were unable to work on our computers or even watch local channels. Room was poorly lit and smelled stale. Bathroom is cramped with poor venting and extremely small shower stall. Walls are extremely thin; can hear people clearly in the hall and next door. Overall was a bed to sleep in and nothing more.”

“Nice room with a whirlpool (that we didn't use) adjoining a nice terrace (that we didn't use because it was so hot outside). Option for a couple of different breakfast times in the little dining room (7 or 8:30) or you could get breakfast delivered at 8am. It was homemade biscuits and an egg bake, which was tasty. If we return to the Okoboji area again some day, we would certainly consider returning.”

“The staff at front desk were helpful. The condo had goldfish cracker on the floor, and row of staples on the floor. It also had a pretzel in the pullout, and red candy stuck to the bottom of the pullout mattress.”

“Our room was filthy. Garbage under the bed and in the corners, including a used tin of chewing tobacco, beer caps, moldy food rappers, and dead bugs all over the floor by the window. Both beds had dead bugs in it too. Pillow cases were dirty with what looked like sweat marks. Makes you wonder if the sheets were even cleaned at alll. No microwave, fridge, or breakfast as advertised. The diner on the property was closed due to the cool quitting? This stay and hotel was a total bust. Owner wouldn’t……

“I LIKED HOW QUIET THE MOTEL WAS AT NIGHT. I DID NOT HERE ANY SOUNDS FROM THE OTHER ROOMS NEARBY.THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. SORRY I DID NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE BREAKFAST. THE SHOPS AROUND THE MOTEL WERE VERY PLENTIFUL, IT WAS HARD TO DECIDE WHICH RESTAURANT TO GO TO.”
