Very safe and well clued uop with C 19 restrictions Great mean both breakfast and evening meal ... Staff were excellent and rooms very comfortable Only thing i did like was leaving ... Will return after lockdown

Nice friendly hotel. A little dated but clean which is what we require particularly at the moment. Nice drive into Alston.

In a lovely location but the building needs some renovation and a good clean. The hotel personnel were lovely. The room was large and really comfy bed.

A good night's sleep

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. On arrival we received an upgraded room. Clean, tidy room and spacious bathroom. An additional bedside lamp had been left due to a problem with the original one. Slept well in 4 poster bed with lovely linen. Dinner in the public bar was tasty well cooked unpretentious food and thoroughly enjoyed. The lady behind the bar was very friendly and attentive. The hotel has a childrens play area and outdoor sitting space which is very pleasant. The breakfast room requires some maintenance but i guess being shutdown due to COVID hasn't helped withsuch things. Pleasant stay.
