“Location to Grandfather Mountain was great. A/C was great. Kitchen does not have some basic utensils and is not fully supplied (as advertised) - fortunately there is a Food Lion nearby where we bought what should have been supplied. Sofa and chairs did not feel clean and we put a sheet over the sofa. Beds and bed linens were good and clean. But, great place to have a family get-together to attend the nearby Highland Games at Grandfather Mountain.”

“The property was nice. There were no onsite food options, or even coffee. There was not desk to work at. This hotel is not for the business traveler. It would be a great place to vacation and relax. It has a kitchen, small stove and fridge so you could fend for yourself. The area is beautiful but the roads leading to it have a lot of switchbacks.”

“The property was absolutely beautiful, room was divine. The only thing was there was noooo staff when we arrived at 7pm and didn’t see any in the morning either when we left at 10!
I don’t mind a self check in but without the heads up it was extreme. Another guest had to let us in. We did not know our exact room so we literally got on their computer and found the booking ourselves and found the key. It went smoothly considering the circumstances but I can see how it could have gone……

“The view was very gorgeous, waking up to it every morning.We got a couple of sightings of deer down the way. We weren't really there for the hot tub and the pool, but I saw a lot of people go in and out of the area. We were there more for the outdoor activities. But everything there was clean and nice. We enjoyed our stay.”

Not to mention the temperature which was 20* cooler than where we live.
