It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont.”

However, we did notice a few bugs inside the refrigerator, which was disappointing. The complimentary breakfast was just okay. There were a few options, but we found the quality lacking. “No anonymous decor here. Each room in this converted old home was uniquely furnished with period furniture and comfortable, though our room could use a good deep cleaning. Breakfast was very good and it was an easy walk to everything in town.”

“Extremely appealing motel accommodations in lodgepole and rustic wood construction. The outdoor pool is set in a lawn and is near shade trees. The pool deck is beautifully arranged with outdoor furniture. The hot tub in a separate structure was very pleasant to use. Our room with standard double beds shared a verandah with other motel rooms. The verandahs have a deep roof overhand to shade them from sun and weather and are furnished with benches and throw pillows. They made a good spot for me to……
