the room was huge, very nice, and had a really nice view of the alps. the staff was very friendly and the amenities were free. I definitely recommend. The hotel was right next to train station as well so it made it really convenient especially if you are tired from snowboarding/skiing all day

Hotel staff and their manager needs to be more guest centric and approachable for guest needs. I had requested their shuttle to pick me up from Interlaken OST station but they didn’t respond initially for a few days and on the last day prior to my arrival, they responded they will arrange pick up but never confirmed my arrival time or any other details. Upon arrival, person who checked me in, said they check guest msgs every shift (which was not the case), dishonest response ruined our experience from the beginning. We had to walk with our luggage bags from train station to hotel and upon arrival their were not even apologetic about mess up. Front desk guy and their manager with bad attitude, I would not stay here again as I would spend this much money somewhere else. Their breakfast in the morning was best part, omelette was extra charge, $10 Swiss franks.

It’s what you’d expect from a small budget hotel. It could benefit from some renovation/restoration but overall our stay was good. Pros: - very friendly and helpful staff - nice shared dining area with a fridge, microwave, cutlery, tea, and coffee for guests - good price for the area - great location, near the center of Interlaken; food, entertainment, shopping, and anything else you’d reasonably want to do in the area is a short walk away - the hotel and surrounding areas felt very safe - you get an Interlaken guest card which gets you benefits in the area (eg, free public transit) Cons: - washroom was in need of renovation or at least a deep clean, with visible black mold - there was a stain on the washroom door frame that resembled dried blood and should have been cleaned - walls are quite thin and sounds from vehicles outside may bother lighter sleepers - wifi was spotty and slow
