“This place is possibly the best we have stayed in. The customer service was second to none, every single member of staff, and there seemed to be quite a few, was extremely obliging and friendly. The court yard room was immaculate and had everything you needed. The Breakfast was the best we have had. We ate in the restaurant three nights and the food was great as was the choice on the menu. Bar had plenty of choices of drinks. Good area to explore with plenty of places nearby. We would recommend……

“No bar or food available. Shower very poor water flow and only luke warm. At least the parking was free. ”

“The location is great as it is very central to the town. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Very clean room which had everything that I needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely cooked breakfast, too. ”

“The staff were all polite and helpful, although some seemed a little inexperienced. We ate in the restaurant one night, the food was well presented, but the pork belly was over cooked and the chips were over salted. We also asked for the coffee tray to be cleaned & refreshed. Someone had come in, left a large bag of tea/coffee sachets in the room, but not cleaned the cups & tray - I assume they got distracted & didn't finish the job.”

“Everything was good re the property except the restaurant with non availability. Kippers not available both days, veg pie first day and just served the last gammon and a waiter who couldn’t bring things like vinegar and brown sauce, all in all however a good stay and would return again. Netflix an advantage!”

Friendly and attentive staff (each and every person we met across all areas had a very high standard of service) - super welcoming to dogs - tasty, quality food and drink (including a great quality, extensive breakfast offer) - bar with a nice vibe - beautiful grounds - excellent facilities.
