The main building itself is nicely located (in a seemingly depressed seaside town) with a clean & spacious bar & dining area overlooking the Esplanade. The breakfast was perfectly decent! However, the room in the building ("Lodge") across the road was sub-par (like most UK budget hotels) but I don't think you'd find it anywhere this bad in a Best Western in the U.S.: No AC & west-facing, no room-darkening blinds/curtains (the light……
