The location of this hotel is fantastic and central to all the major sights. We were able to walk to every major landmark between 4-10 minutes. The staff were lovely and hard working. The AC, shower/hot water worked great. The breakfast was a typical continental style and I found it satisfactory to a hotel this size. The one thing that was challenging was getting a regular wifi signal. Overall, great stay for a family of 4.

Villa Cora was an interesting and pleasant stay with a nice pool, lovely staff, and a beautiful setting. We enjoyed our stay but likely will not return. Strengths: - Well-kept stately villa and grounds - Attractive, beautifully-designed room and indoor common areas - Helpful, kind, and capable staff pre-arrival and during our stay - A lovely pool environment, perfect for staying cool and relaxing in summer - Excellent fresh lunch at the poolside restaurant Le Bistrot - A general sense of peace and calmness - Good shuttle service when available Areas of Improvement: - Value: at an average €1,065 / night (incl. tax), it was too expensive for what it offered - Air conditioning was weak and the room was hot throughout our stay - Housekeeping was inconsistent - Too many expensive extras - Weak service at the pool - The strange shuttle hours of 9:30 - 12:30 and 4:30 - 8:30 left gaps and required us to take many expensive taxis - Very little storage space in the small Classic Room - Rooftop bar and basement speakeasy were both closed despite being advertised on the hotel website I debated whether to rate this property 3 or 4 out of 5, and the quality of staff broke the tie for me.
