Big Ambergris Cay Vacations from $1,664

This is a wonderful place for families to vacation and be like private. It was just a little while off from most stuff for us and we didn’t book a car. Taxis were expensive for where they were taking you it was 40 dollars to drive us 8 mins away and back to get food. Besides that it’s a very nice place on the less busy side of the island!

I’ve been to Turks with friends and family several times, but this was the first time I rented a beachfront property with concierge service and it was an amazing experience. The concierge service at Long Bay Beach Club coordinated VIP airport entrance and transportation to the villa and we skiped the long line. We also opted for gourmet chef service, and it was a fantastic experience. The villa was impeccably clean, with high-quality towels, shampoo, and all the amenities we could imagine. Housekeeping was included in the price, which is something welcome compared with my previous stays. Something incredible was the direct access to the private beach. The villa has a nice beachfront sundeck and ocean kayaks. The powdery white beach was incredible, like being in heaven. This is an incredibly safe place for ocean sports. We went kite surfing and also hired some jet skis Our concierge did a great job again arranging both activities for us. We will be returning again!

Stayed 2 years ago and had a wonderful experience. Resort is under expansion, which we knew about prior to our visit. The construction was not disruptive. However, the existing resort is not what we experienced on our last visit. Most everyone from the management to the employees seemed put out and uninterested. Room was dirty and not maintained. Complimentary breakfast was lacking. Sad because our original visit was so much different. Would not return.

We had dinner at Del Mar last year and completely fell in love with The Strand property. This year, we decided to stay there, and it exceeded every expectation. We stayed on the third floor, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Our room was spotless, spacious, and had a beautiful balcony overlooking the water. It truly felt like a home away from home. We especially appreciated all the thoughtful touches that made our stay so comfortable. The kitchenette was stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. One of our favorite memories was putting together a charcuterie board and enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony during golden hour each evening. The staff was exceptional...friendly, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay perfect. The entire experience was so wonderful that part of me doesn't even want to leave a review because I'd love to keep this place our little secret! We can't wait to return.
