Great location, really noisy, Thurs-Sat night, but I knew that.
Very friendly staff, easy access, great doorman, super friendly. A fan would have been a really nice touch because it was really, really hot and it was so loud we couldn’t open the window. A negative would be the lack of a new cleaning cloth and sponge and minimal toiletries. I suppose I could have asked , so that’s on me. Overall a nice clean, safe place with excellent staff. Will definitely book again. Good job

Quite an oppressive room with colour scheme and materials used more in line with a hotel where you would rent the room by the hour with its gold settee and dark material padded walls couldn’t open windows and very dirty, was quite warm when we there and Bonaire con/ fan although admittedly I didn’t ask for one - no spoons in the room for drinks and not enough milk/ coffee etc I know only small things but all add up - on the plus the beds very clean and comfy - bathroom nice and clean to and communal areas all very welcoming along with a lift - so I guess to sum it up you get what you pay for

We really enjoyed our stay at School Lane Hotel in Liverpool. Pros: The location is excellent—just steps from shopping, restaurants, and pubs. We booked the family studio, their largest room, and it was perfect for our family of four (two boys, 11 and 16). While there’s no kitchenette, the hotel offers complimentary pastries and coffee each morning in the lobby. The room was very spacious by European standards, and the bathroom was a standout—modern, roomy, and the shower was fantastic.
Cons: The entrance is a bit tricky to find—it’s just to the right of Hotel Chocolat. Parking is about a 5-minute walk at Q-Park Hanover Street. Be sure to pre-book and use the hotel’s discount code; we paid around £20 overnight. There are no on-site amenities like a gym or spa, but guests can access facilities at a nearby sister hotel (we didn’t use them, so can’t comment).
Overall: A great stay, and we’d definitely return!
