The good: I really like the location. The room was a really nice size, clean and comfortable. I asked for extra pillows and received them.
The not so good: The heating could not be controlled, it was way too hot. I was greeted once on entering the hotel. Even when the desk was not busy there was no salutation and the staff there came across as unwelcoming. Slow check out. I contacted the hotel for an earlier check in before I went but nobody got back to me. My flight was early and they stood by the 3 pm time even though others arrived after me and got checked in. I waited from 10:30 until 3.
A smile would have been great.

The lady at the bar who serves me drinks was racist and flicked me in the back when she served snacks with the drinks I ordered. This behavior is not acceptable and tolerance of all races is a must in this day and age. I am asking for a refund of at least one night’s stay in view of this behavior.

Clean room, nice bed. Welcoming reception. They had some problems with the computer system on our arrival day, and the bar staff who were temporary staff were absolutely useless, but once the normal staff had taken over it was great.
