Good location beyond simple vibe

Not best vibes in building or the unit and lack of communication with manager made check in stressful resulting in having to call vrbo. Definitely overpriced but it was that time of year.

Nothing about this apartment was comfortable the kitchen had no pots or pans for cooking, no table and chairs to eat, the bed/mattress was uncomfortable,bedding smelled of cigarettes and had cigarette burns on the blanket, blinds were broken, restroom tiles were cracked, shower curtain smelled of cigarettes , a train close by made a lot of noise all through the night, no access to the Wi-Fi only had password but not name. However, restaurants nearby were very good Greg’s Tavern Joe’s Pizza and crave, this place was not aesthetically pleasing over all :(

The host was very communicative, and the property was as tidy as it probably could have been, but the state of the apartment was really poor. The vinyl tile in the bathroom had torn due to the subfloor rotting under the toilet. We had to lay a towel down on the floor so as not to cut our feet on the tile. In many places, the top layer of sheet rock has been pulled off the wall and the blinds were broken. The drop ceilings were askew in the bathroom, and the hosts left us two half used rolls of toilet paper. It needs love.
