Property conditions & facilities

2/5 Poor

Pros: House was nice. Good design for small space. Nice Laundry. Great location for access to freeway. Pet friendly. Nice linens, towels, barbeque. Good plates, glasses and decent cookware. Cons: I wasted a half hour trying to get online. The access code on a sign on table is wrong. The first letter is large cap, and the password is lower case. How can you not know that? The microwave trips the breaker if you are running anything else. Just lights is enough. Can't imagine you aren't aware. There is nothing in the kitchen in regards to basics. I don't mean plates, glasses, etc. I mean, you better go to the store before you get there. I had to buy salt! No spices, no cooking oil, nothing, zero.. Dim lights in master. light bulbs out. Sketchy neighborhood. Overall. It is a good place to stay if you know this in advance. Oh and by the way, will never use you guys again. Dealing with Deena twice in my life is enough.

4/5 Good

Great customer service. Nice, clean unit unfortunately in loud part of town.
We stayed for over a week in the Rainbow Cottage. The communication with the booking agent was excellent and the space was clean and comfortable. The only issue is the location next to the freeway. We obviously knew this before booking, but but had read from another reviewer that the house was mostly sound-proofed. We borrowed a fan from a friend and used white noise apps in order to sleep at night. The AC is also very loud when it runs (which was an issue with our toddler). So while we would recommend this property, just be aware that if you are a light sleeper or have young children, the noise should be a consideration.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Clean, tidy, comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and washer and dryer. Beds and linens were very comfortable and loved the bathrobes. Hosts were great and communicated amenity and local area info in advance. There is some traffic noise as the cottage is near the highway. The noise did not bother us.
