“This hotel seems to be run by friendly family and people. During my stay, they were good to me and my dad, guilding us to the train station, ordered a cheap taxi for us, helped me to open the bathroom door when I didn't know how to open it.
It was also quiet and considerated place to sleep at night, we enjoyed our stay.”

“Great location and staff with easy access. Décor a little tired in places and needs some refreshing. Room comfortable and spacious, however shower needed unblocking. Good food available in the pub restaurant. Would stay again. ”

“The hotel was quite booked up, so we had 2 rooms over a 3-day weekend and our baggage was transferred with no fuss or problems. Both rooms were clean, roomy and contained everything we needed, including a much-needed fan as the weather headed for a heatwave!
Breakfast was lovely (we had a full English).
The staff and the manager, Peter, were very friendly and helpful and made sure we were feeling happy about our stay at all times.
A very nice place to stay while we visited one of our sons who……
