"A hidden Gem! Super friendly staff, room was spotless and very spacious, initially we thought we may be disturbed by the busy pub but were pleasntly surprised how quiet it was, definitely adding this one to my favourites!"

"The accommodation was first class; very clean and a decent size with quality furnishings and excellent washroom. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection of choices. Car parking was fine and the premises are located in a convenient location for visits to the Castle, Legoland and other local tourist locations. A very enjoyable stay and I would have no hesitation returning."

"Service was very good, I was welcomed by the owner and made to feel welcome. I was shown to my room and given info on the heating, breakfast times etc. Breakfast was served by a polite and pleasant lady, the breakfast itself was very nice (I opted for the traditional English). Plenty of parking available. The room itself was comfortable. Bathroom functional although if I was being overly critical I would say it could benefit from a bit of an update. "Guest house is easily reached by car from LHR, located across from Maidenhead Rowing Club in iconic Thames valley setting. Bed and facilities were extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Hosts were delightful."

"Nice property overall, location can’t be beat, walkable to Windsor and Eton and the river. No hot water the first day, difficult to get a hold of staff as there is no overnight staffing. Emergency and contact numbers were out of date, manager didn’t pick up her mobile phone because they didn’t recognise the number calling, which we thought was odd. Water issue was remedied. No compensation offered. Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Didn’t hear any noise from street or from restaurant....

"Lovely room and amazing shower. A few things that would improve overall visit- the green emergency light above the bedroom door casts light into the room all night and really impacts sleep for people who need a dark room? It was rather like having a nightlight you could not switch off. Would also be nice to have more than one towel and a mirror in the bedroom to dry hair. Comfortable bed but I didn’t sleep well due to the light issue unfortunately "

"The room and shower were really clean and the decor, fixtures and fittings were of a really high standard with a super comfortable bed and great shower (despite it being shared; we wouldn’t normally stay anywhere without an en-suite but misread the info on Hotels.com so had no choice). Slightly annoying, the TV is not set up to the right date and time and we had to keep retuning it in but that is a minor issue. The room was too small for us and felt a bit cramped. Ordering a takeaway one...

"This amazing canal boat was the highlight of our trip to England! We were amazed at how nice and clean it was. Dinner at the pub nearby was excellent and morning coffee on the deck was a truly wonderful experience. Enjoying canal life for a day was a pleasure, we will definitely stay again on our next trip."
