“My family of four with two teenagers stayed for a full week. The house is perfect for a long stay. The master and second bedroom beds were comfortable and large enough for two adults, the sofa bed in the office worked well for my teenager. Having 2 1/2 baths made mornings much easier and the convenience of a full kitchen can not be overstated. We fell in love with Barnes and hated to leave. Having bread, eggs, milk, and juice waiting for us made it feel like we were visiting family and made that……

“A comfortable quirky cottage in a converted stable. It has everything you could need and the owners are friendly and helpful. The free roaming geese and duck plus their eggs were a bonus. There are ducklings on their way and we were sorry to miss their hatching.”

“We had absolutely no heating. I tried several times to contact the owner by email, messenger and by phoning her. No reply. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience ”

“I am not sure where to begin, but our stay at the Victorian Lodge in Windsor was absolutely amazing. Hamish was a wonderful host, and we could've stayed forever. There is something special about being in the English countryside, and our stay at the Lodge almost felt like we were inside of a storybook. If you want to be close to London/Windsor, but away from the crowds and the noise, you will not regret staying here. We had no issues getting food delivered, or getting rides to/from the lodge.……

“This is the place to go if you're looking for a peaceful stay in nature. The cottage is close to hiking trails and all you hear are birds singing.We arrived to a basket of generous snacks, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a family get together.Tim and his family were super helpful and made us feel welcome and at home.A weekend was simply not enough! We wanted to stay longer.. Highly recommended!”
