Great stay for four adults and two young children
This is a wonderful log cabin that is even better than the pictures suggest. It's located in a very tall, white pine woods with excellent isolation. Stairs to the lake. All facilities were spotless. The sleeping layout is a bit unusual and might be a challenge for some parties. We had a great stay, and Stacy graciously accommodated our requests.

Family weekend getaway
We had a great time! The cabin was large enough for everyone to have a room. We loved the calm bay that it sits on. Great for kayaking (we had with us), paddle boards ( we had with us), and they provided a paddle boat that our one year old grandson loved to ride in. Only thing they family would change would be to stay longer. Thanks

Lake cabin in the pines
We enjoyed a week at the Happy Daze cabin. The lake is very good for kayaking and canoeing as it is a long skinny lake that does not get very wavy. We enjoyed swimming also but there are some weeds out at the end of the dock. That didn’t seem to bother us or our dog very much. The cabin sits in the woods under tall white and norway pines. The lake road is hilly and is great for walking. The cabin is older and needs a few updates but we found that the kitchen was large enough to make family meals and had all the necessary equipment, dishes etc. There were 3 different sized Weber grills outside so we were able to do a lot of grilling. The cabin’s master bedroom is located in an open loft area above the family room. There is no bathroom up there which was an issue for us. There are 2 bedrooms on the walkout level, each had a bunk bed. There was a bathroom down stairs so we decided to use the lower level. If you are challenged by stairs, this is not the cabin for you. All of the bedrooms have a flight of stairs to negotiate. You must go up some stairs at both entrances to the house. And the walk down to the lake involves 46 stairs and a small hill. We definitely got our exercise.
