I booked the room before 3 hours of arrival. It was very difficult to find the location. There was no sign or anything outside. Not even door number. I reached there and they didn’t let me in even after i show all my booking details and id. I stayed outside in cold for almost 1 hour for them to verify my booking. Even after i showed my booking they were very rude to us. They told us they cant let me in and give room. Then after i got the help from hotels.com assistance i got a chance to let inside. I don’t know whether after all these issues they gave me the worst room to me. Right after seeing the room i left the property. The room was disappointing- no heating (it was 10 degrees outside) and no extra blanket in the room, the bedside lamps didn't work and there was only a few coat hangers on a rail to store clothes. Det bedste ved værelset var: rent sengetøj og et toilet der fungerede. Og så det andet: brusedørene var ved at falde fra hinanden, vi turde ikke tage et bad. Vinduerne kunne ikke lukkes helt, så det trak helt vild ind. Gardinerne blafrede og vi turde ikke røre ved vinduerne, af skræk for at de skulle falde ud. Døren ind til værelset stod og klaprede, fordi der var gennemtræk. Bordet i værelset var i stykker. Bordet sad ikke fast til benet. Der var gummilagner i sengene. Skidt i krogene. De havde ikke styr på bestilte værelser. It was grim, there was barely any toilet roll for us and nobody at reception to ask for more. Really dirty and mouldy bathroom, with the sink in the bedroom which was odd. Window wouldn’t shut so room was freezing, had to lay towels over the duvet to try and warm up. Tv didn’t work. Hallways stunk of weed which seeped into the room. Also they wanted to charge £25 if you arrive after 8:30pm which is insane! That was half the price of the room. Disgrace of a hotel. Will not go back, bathroom had mould in the shower windows broken & boarded up with wood. The pictures on the advertisement is not what you get they look like were taken from a different hotel. Rooms smelt of smoke. Gaps in walls & doors which made it very cold at night. The room did not look like any of the pictures. Upon arrival, there was a pile of dirty towels and laundry in my room, and i had no clean towels or toilet roll. The bathroom stank and had mould. After discussing with the receptionist, they took the dirty laundry and gave me a fresh towel, but no toilet roll. The cups, kettle and teaspoons were also dirty. There was no heating, and the window would not fully close, so was very could. Also, the duvet was very thin. The hallways were very thin and most of the flooring/stairs/doors were very creaky. The walls were very thin and i could consistently hear people throughout the nights. The room was not cleaned at all during my 3 night stay. I was charged to leave my luggage for a few hours on the day of check out. It’s opposite a park too which is loud at night as it seems groups of men sit drinking on the benches. Ceiling was wallpapered which was odd. The toilet seat was too small for the bowl and wasn’t fastened on properly which wasn’t great. Chairs were really stained. Walls had stickers from previous guests clothing. Hallway was really loud when wind blew or other guests shut their doors (would make your door rattle).
