Very poor service in restaurant, meat was overcooked. However the worst was the lack of service even factoring in Italian culture that a meal is to be enjoyed not rushed. Their service just seemed oblivious to their responsibilities.

The hotel is impeccable. The room was clean and spacious. No complaints about the property. However, is important to consider that is up in one of the hills. You can walk down to the town but it’s hard to climb back up. There is no sidewalk and the road is busy with buses, cars, motorcycles, etc. That is Amalfi so do your research. Breakfast was bread, cold cuts, yogurts and coffee. They had hard boiled eggs too. They said they are not allowed to cook. So be prepared for that. There are a few restaurants walking distance but they close from 3pm-7pm. That is Amalfi and Italy for you. The owners are polite except for the most senior guy. We saw him slap a guest in the hand for trying to make a sandwich and putting it in the toaster oven. I got yelled at for accidentally taking a banana out of the breakfast area. The other guys who I assume are his sons were polite and helpful but be careful with that older guy.

Very clean room, friendly staff except for 1 shuttle driver who was rude and unhelpful.

The staff was so incredibly welcoming and so kind to us! The room was always cleaned and stocked up with necessities, everyone is always greeting you and their in house breakfast was delicious with lots of varieties and an amazing view.

Absolutely incredible hotel - the best view, service, comfort one could ask for. Couldn't recommend more.
