“After a long day and tense drive up the mountain in the dark and rain, the woman who greeted us at the front desk couldn’t have been more welcoming and kind. It’s an old lodge that has been honored and well cared for. There were actual metal room keys with an old key tag, antique furniture, low warm lights and a fire in the big stone fireplace in the sitting room, it honestly couldn’t have been a better experience on arrival. “The little cabin was conveniently located. We easily walked to downtown for shopping and dinner. Room was comfortable for our one night stay. We did not use the kitchen facilities.”

“Two bed/two bath townhome in the Spur Landing area of Cloudcroft. Easy to find, near the golf course, pretty quiet. Park at the front door. No A/C (you are at 9000 feet) but there are ceiling fans and tower fans, in case the afternoon gets warm. Firewood is provided for the fireplace. Wifi worked flawlessly. TV is streaming only, so if you don't do that, it may be a challenge. Small deck, with a dinette. A propane grill is there. Golf course view. Often some elk and deer will com along. Adjacent……
