Was told by staff that the pool was being cleaned should be ready for the weekend … made clear that the pool was why I booked .. other quests at front desk said same thing … if the pool was closed for the weekend we wanted to book elsewhere … manage on duty said def open for weekend … BIG LIie .. offered no discount or return so could book some where else ruined entire weekend with my grandson

I was in town dealing with a fractured foot and a family funeral. I booked six nights because I did not know how long I would need to stay. When I learned I would not need the final night, neither Expedia nor the hotel would even discuss a partial refund or any reasonable accommodation. The accessible room made an already difficult situation worse. The shower design allowed water to spread across the bathroom floor, creating an unnecessary hazard. A bright exterior floodlight shone into the room through the blinds. It was also difficult to get help; in my experience, only one staff member was available to handle the needs of the entire hotel every day I was there. At a time when I needed safety, rest, and basic flexibility, I received none. Expedia and this hotel made an already painful time harder than it had to be. I will not use either again and strongly recommend that others choose somewhere else.
