Was a very nice and serene room. Very nice location within Nagoya and would recommend. We would stay here again in the future. Housekeeping staff was very kind and courteous. Front desk staff (unmanned hotel) less than helpful and at times a bit rude. Notes for other travelers: if you are trying to get in before 3 PM, it’s not going to happen. The dryer doesn’t work. Great laundromat 250 feet away.

The best hotel in Nagoya!

Hotel is excellent. Clean and fairly new. Service is excellent. There is a portable stove, but no pots and kitchenwares provided.

Great location, central to some great shops and restaurants but not too busy. Hotel is very nice too and breakfast was very special. Staff were very accommodating also

We arrived at 14:00 and we were told there is a strict check-in at 15:00. We really did not understand why as the room was ready. We thought that it did not make sense as all other hotels are not that strict with that and we were told to come back an hour later without explanation. There is also a strict 10:00 check out - we were out at 10:05 - that was fine, but the Chinese guests that were out at 10:15 got scolded really bad by the clerk so careful about that too. The room cleaning did not happen during the 2 nights we were there. I'm fine with making the dishes, but they don't provide any drying rack so I had to put the wet dishes on the counter putting water everywhere. They should learn a thing or 2 about how and what the Mimaru franchise provides: they provide the right amenities for that. And it could change how the guests view their stay at their hotel. Overall size is good for family, it is quiet and we got a good rest.
