The hotel is easy to reach by tram, staff were friendly and the room was fine. Only problem was that the ‘room cooling system’ was actually just a fan, so we were very hot overnight. This is a basic hotel but has everything you need for a short stay. Not all of the windows have fly screens and there were numerous wasps and other flying insects outside. Because of this I did not feel comfortable to have the windows open, even during the recent heat wave. Appreciate that air conditioning units cannot be fitted due to the age and character of the building but fly screens should be achievable. Nice garden to have breakfast in and the hotel is in a good location, just outside the city centre (which means it's quiet in the evenings) but only 5-10 minutes' walk from the centre (depending how fast you walk). The location also affects the price, which was very reasonable.
