“Hotel was a awesome place to stay! Liked that it was decorated in the Victorian area! Loved your room was clean! Exploded the hotel. Will stay here again when passing thru!”

“First off, this was a charming motel, it was ascetically pleasing and had really good vibes. The check in staff was pleasant and did check on us via text. I want it to be known this is not a bad review. I will say this is a dog friendly motel and you unfortunately can smell it. The remodel and upgrades are cute however the shower is small in size as is, so since the shower head is not fully adjustable, this did make for an uncomfortable shower. Oh and FYI they don’t have an iron in each room.……

“We stayed in room 206. You could put a can by the ac unit, and it would roll all the way across the room to the door. Other than thinking I had vertigo, it was an awesome experience.”

“Literally the best place to stay in all of Durango even for short stays. I always come here and had to go to a different hotel one time and immediately regretted not staying at The Leland House. It’s central to everything fun in downtown and so nice you might not want to even leave your room.”

“Breakfast was excellent. Location is great, walking distance to all.”

“Room was clean and comfortable and we stayed here due to its convenient and close proximity to the train station as we were booked to go on the Durango to Silverton steam train the next morning. Breakfast was plentiful but the egg and sausage patties were pre-cooked and then microwaved before being added to the buffet rather than being freshly prepared so not the best quality. Everything else was fine though.”

“Staff was great, very friendly and welcoming. The photos do a good job at making the hotel look newer than it is. Unfortunately there were dirty foot prints in the shower and mold in the shower curtain. 2.5 star rating.”
