“Perfect beautiful place for my husband and I with our King Charles Cavalier Spaniel Maggie. Wi-Fi was on and off, required resetting a couple of times. But, we loved the peace and quiet. Was perfect for exploring trails in the area. Moss Lake Trailhead was our favorite. Perfect between Old Forge and Inlet. It was across the road and a little walk from Big Moose Lake and the pic of the gazebo. and the gazebo and docks need some repair. Construction occurring and we just kept away from the area.……

“Camp Orvis is a wonderful house in the Adirondack Park. Clean, comfy and quiet! Host is wonderful! Two bathrooms are also a a bonus.”

“West Hideaway Bay is at the end of Big Moose Lake with beautiful scenery of the lake. You are able to see the lake from the back porch or get a closer view down at the boat dock. We loved watching the sunrise and the fog lifting in the morning. The fish jumping was an added piece of entertainment. The camp is cozy and decorated to match the outdoors. It was equipped with everything we needed. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. It was a great long weekend for us and we are……

“Nice cabin with guest cottage makes a good lake stay for 4 adults. Owner is fantastic and extremely helpful and responsive. Kitchen well stocked with all the necessary needs for cooking. Dock is awesome!”

“Only suggestion I have is that each room should have a luggage rack and clothes rack for hanging items on.Because you no longer have a meal service, maybe to the folder on the table a list of restaurants near by could be added.Loved the layout of the facility and the book with remembrance of Old Inn and introduction of the New Inn to build more fond memories in.”

“We booked for the 90 Miler Canoe Classic and we will NEVER book to stay here again. We would encourage every other racer to find a different place. The main office staff were incredibly rude and combative and planned to refuse us our stay due to walking our dog on their property. The dog was never going to stay on the site but the front desk woman refused to listen to what we shared with her. Later in the evening they refused a young family with a baby to stay as well. I have never been treated……
