“This is a fantastic pub to stay and dine at. 4 nights here with wonderfully comfortable and quiet room. Excellent staff, great evening menu and food. Lovely atmosphere. Amazing walking right from the front door, car did not move for the whole time. The breakfast is the only thing that needs attention… the full English is good quality and well cooked but took 30-40 mins to arrive and on cold plates - easily rectified I hope. “On arrival our room was upgraded to a large seaview room with a walk in shower which was a very nice welcome. The Pump room bar is excellent with a cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food both at breakfast and in the evening venues is top notch. Dining is a particular highlight which should not be missed with a very good menu expertly prepared and served to a really high standard. ”

“Our stay at The Havelock was extremely pleasant. The hotel was very clean and well presented. Paul and Vicky were excellent hosts and were always on hand for a friendly chat. The breakfast was very good and all the serving staff were so friendly and efficient. The location of the hotel is great - with old Shanklin village, Shanklin Chine and the beach all nearby. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Havelock and will hopefully return one day. Thoroughly recommend! ”
