I had a good welcome. Room was lovely and clean. The complementary drinks voucher is a very nice touch. Fire in bar most welcoming. Breakfast delicious. Would definitely stay again.

We were really pleasantly surprised with our stay. The Hotel was really clean, well laid out, the room was so spacious with a fantastic sized bathroom and coffee facilities. Anthony and Emily were fantastic, very polite and fun to be around. Everything about our short stay was fantastic and I would definitely come back and recommend :)

Nice place to visit

The hotel was comfort and good size for family, but it was new paint, my wife not feeling too well, staffs are very friendly and helpful, bar and breakfast was very good, had a nice local beer, good and quiet location for family break, well recommended

Great hotel

The room was clean, nice large family room. Bed was comfy. Bit of a rabbit warren to get to room but didn't mind. Food in restaurant was nice on the night. Drinks tasted good. Down side no ev charger so hopefully they get one fitted. But not a big deal. All in all would stay again

If you come to the isle of wight for what ever reason this is your place, the staff are beyond friendly and the breakfast is world class, the room is clean and homely, it is the perfect home away from home

We stayed at the Birdham for a mini-break and were very pleased with our choice. It has been recently refurbished to a good standard and was very clean. The team were all very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. Bembridge itself is fairly small and quiet but it is easy to get to from the ferries and was also a good base for touring the island. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a nice place to stay for an Isle of Wight break.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the staff were wonderful. The food was very good as well. The only thing to be aware of is that the room I had in the second floor was excellent for me but would have been a tad small for 2

The Birdham - review from Jan 2025.

I stayed at the Birdham in late January 2025. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was particularly good - excellent menu, good cooked options, and delicious. I used the restaurant and bar on one evening, which again was excellent - good choices, delicious food, and a good atmosphere, it was used both by locals, and for business meetings. I would recommend the Birdham to anyone looking to stay in Bembridge or the Isle of Wight.

A two day trip visiting friends. loved our stay here. Very friendly welcome and very impressed with the superior room we booked. Very clean and bright and generally in good condition. Breakfast cooked to order and was excellent and very friendly staff throughout. We ate in the bar one evening and once again the food was well priced and excellent. Would not hesitate to stay again. Good location also for the local village and a walk to the beach.

Stayed here with colleagues while over on a work trip as recommended by local team members. In a snap the hotel felt a little bland but forget that as the food was amazing, the service brilliant and the rooms although feeling old style were amazingly comfortable with loads of great little touches. Would highly recommend staying there

Overall the Birdham was very good. A great place to stay for good food and drink. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and well equipped. My only gripe was the temperature of upstairs and the room.

All staff friendly and welcoming. Spotless room. Excellent choice of breakfasts cooked to order. We ate in the hotel each evening and the food and service were excellent. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend and we will go back to the Birdham on our next visit to IOW.
