"The room was clean and comfortable. Check in was quick and easy. It was a busy weekend, as it was move in weekend for the University. Our family stayed as we were attending Memorial Service. Great to have alots of carts to bring in luggage. Friendly staff."

"We had a comfortable stay. Everything was as advertised and complete for a pleasant time. The mattress was soft but was still comfortable enough. There was a bidet, which I didn't see in the description. This is always a good find!We mostly parked on the street because there were squirrels in the large oak tree that kept running around and causing acorns to fall. We were worried about them damaging the car. This is probably a seasonal issue."

"I'd like to thank the hosts for providing such a wonderful home. My family of three stayed here for ten nights, and this house truly made us feel at home throughout our trip. I chose this property specifically because of the photos of the kitchen, and it was exactly what I had hoped for. It was clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything a family could need. The living room was also very spacious, featuring comfortable reclining couches and a smart TV, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The hosts were incredibly responsive whenever I had a question or request. When I asked for laundry detergent and extra trash bags, they were delivered to our door within 30 minutes! Also, I'd like thank the hosts for the coffee for full ten mornings! That was not something I definitely did not expect! Oh, the welcoming pie as well. That was very sweet of her/them! I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you so much for making our trip so comfortable and enjoyable!"
Tranquil house with beautiful garden in Emeryville

"Great location and comfortable spot for two people and outdoor spaces are very nice; check-in and check-out were easy and the host was very responsive when needed. I do feel the listing is misleading, as you will not find out until your check-in email (or thoroughly reading reviews first) that the hot tub is shared with two other vacation rentals. Additionally, it is also located on the grounds of one cottage, so there is some awkwardness in traipsing through someone else's space, especially at night. There is no reservation system for using the hot tub, so if the other cottages are occupied, prepare for a series of negotiations with strangers who may or may not be easy to coordinate with. We also wanted to use the hot tub on the morning of our check out and it was blocked off due to cleaning; another reason that a reservation system would be helpful."

"Robert was very helpful and his communication with us was prompt. There were a couple of issues when we arrived (flashing lightbulb in refrigerator, spot on one of the area rugs) so we sent him a note. Someone was there quickly to resolve them and he followed up to make sure everything else was good. The condo was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there."
