"My toilet was clogged the entire time no matter how many times I complained it didn't get fixed. It smelled so bad. I had no microwave the the fridge didn't work."

"The room had some serious use with scuffs and gouges on the walls
This location is very noisy, and the parking lot seems to have a lot of traffic in and out all night long
Although the TV and air-conditioning were working well
In person, it is not as nice as it appears online"

The hotel was excellent! It far exceeded our expectations. We chose it because it is close to the Chabad House and two synagogues that host Shabbat meals. The hotel provided us with a Shabbat key. The staff was courteous and helpful with everything we needed, and the cleanliness was excellent.

Although I chose this hotel because of the low price, I still had some feelings when I first entered the street where this hotel is. I wasn't sure if I would feel safe and comfortable here. I even asked to see the room first before accepting it--this is not something I usually do. It looked simple, but clean so I went ahead and took it. As I stayed there, I started to notice the inside and outside work that the manager and apparent family members did to make this the cleanest hotel they possibly...

I had no issues with the hotel. I rolled into town at 11:45 so I was probably the last one on site. I just needed a place to sleep and it was easy to find, the staff had my reservation through Expedia, and was exactly what I expected. The room had been updated recently and was very nice, a lot better than I was expecting for the price. Slept like a baby and left at 7:30am to catch a train in Emeryville.

My room faces the street and it was pretty loud all night, even with earplugs. Interiors have been updated and have all amenities you’d expect from a place charging twice as much. I’m bummed that the outlet by the bed I charged my phone in overnight melted my cable, rendering my extra battery pack unusable and I missed getting photos of my daughter’s race finish because my phone died. Overall, would recommend this hotel.

It was our first time staying there and I must say it was very pleasant. It was quiet super clean very convenient walkable to dining places and a short Uber drive is between $7 to $10 to pier 39 or 30 min walk. Really close to the gooden gate bridge, the arts pillars, parks, beaches etc would stay there again! Super affordable too!

I was looking for a cheap place to stay in Berkeley that was convenient to the bus and Bart lines, and the Marina Inn was perfect. 51b stops right outside to go to downtown Berkeley, plus it is just a short walk down for the marina or the North Berkeley Bart station. Very clean and comfortable room, with hard wood floors and big screen tv. I was very happy with my choice.

No frills isn’t a bad thing. I appreciate how Sea Breeze motel lets the ocean be the star of the stay.
I usually stay across the street but they were sold out. Glad I gave this charming motel a try. Clean, warm, and next to a fabulous restaurant!
Highly recommend

I felt safe staying there while my husband was at the VA. My car was safe. That was the most important thing. I will definitely be staying back there if I ever have to go back to San Francisco.

I stayed here when transferring over night from the west bound California Zephry to the south bound San Jaoquin through the Central Valley
It's a two mile walk down Alhambra Street. Martinez is a very nice community and the Muir Lodge is no frills place with modern amenities and a great price, perfect for my purposes. It's right on Alhambra so there is traffic noise. Next time I will ask for a room further from the street.
