“Super adorable cottage with beautiful views. The awning over the back deck was perfect to sit under while it was raining. Everything was clean and the bedding was so nice along with the comfy mattress. The cows coming to the fence and one of them staring at me was hilarious and we watched a momma bird collect food, she would sit on the rail as if she was showing us what she had. Just a wonderful time at a wonderful place. Highly recommend.”

“The property was exactly what we were looking for… quiet, comfortable and relaxing.Independence is a short drive away for any necessities, but we came with almost everything for a couple of fine meals.The cookware could use a little refresh, i.e., a few more pots and pans, but it all worked out fine.We weren’t able to do any stargazing because of the cloud cover, but we plan to come back in the fall/winter when the conditions are likely to be more favorable.All in all a great escape from CLT.We……

“We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage is part of Serre Vineyards, but tucked away far enough that we had complete privacy. It was spacious, very clean and beautifully updated. We loved the indoor and outdoor fireplaces, and the sauna was such a nice surprise! The owner was very kind and even stopped by to show us how to use it. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer!”
