“Very nice to have a small boutique option versus a chain...and in the downtown area.”

“The good: The property was very nice. The kitchen and seating area were roomy and well equipped. Beds were comfy. The bad: Ground floor does not mean no steps. The entrance is on the basement level, so a flight of stairs is required to get to the room. There is a side door on the ground level that can be used to exit, but it does not have a code device for re-entry. There is basically no parking (only 3 spots) at the facility, so parking is about 3 blocks away in the public lot by Town……

“After a day of wine tastings this is the perfect location for relaxing. Easy walk to restaurants, and a great rooftop for just hanging out.”

“Room was very clean and had good features with exposed brick. It was a little smaller than anticipated but still plenty of room for us. Shower was small. Need some non-flavored coffee pods but that wasn’t really part of the rental. Nice place to stay if wanting to walk around downtown Elkin. Rail yard, Angry Trolls and Reeves Theater were easy to walk to.”

“The room is clean, quiet, and cozy. I could tell my hosts had thought very carefully about what a guest may need, and they covered all those bases and more. Located in a quiet neighborhood very close to restaurants, grocery stores, etc.”

“Great location. Plenty of restaurants and activities within walking distance. Loved sitting on the rooftop, relaxing and enjoying adult beverages. excellent wineries nearby with breath taking views. Highly recommend.”

“Beds were comfortable for our one night stay, but it would have been helpful to know before final check-in instructions that the room was over a garage, requiring climbing steps to access. Construction was in process to install fencing and it was difficult to maneuver around the on-site dumpster to access the two visitor parking spots for guests.”
