It was overall fairly clean, but our room had an “off” smell. The swimming pool deck paint was peeling and stuck to our feet. I also called ahead to see if they had extra cots for kids and they said yes, they would put one in our room. When I checked in they said they didn’t have anything. Pretty frustrating.

The hotel was reasonably priced for the Fourth of July weekend, which was a plus. Unfortunately, the rooms were very dirty. The air vents were completely covered in dust, and our room didn’t have central air—only a window air conditioner. If you’re not planning to use the indoor water park, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The staff weren’t outright rude, but they also weren’t particularly friendly. They were probably dealing with a lot of kids and stressed guests because of the holiday weekend, which may have affected their customer service. If you’re looking for a quiet hotel, this isn’t the place to stay, although the holiday weekend likely contributed to the noise.
