No light in hall or on staircase. There was no free breakfast, not even coffee. 50/50 chance of hot water. I was there for 6 nights and had to take out my own trash and buy plastic bags for the trash. No one ever came in to replace towels or sheets. Balcony door was loose so the cold air blew in. Walls are very thin, great for having an arguing couple next door, which I did.

I liked the hotel’s proximity to the beach. It’s close enough to walk to. Maybe 10 minutes. It’s close to restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is very nice and quiet. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and the breaks fast was delicious. Would stay here again.

5 star review for me!
My experience at the Babzen Hotel went above and beyond my expectations. Firstly the location is just what you want! A few minutes walk away from the beach, restaurants and bars but just out of the way for a quiet nights sleep. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the beds quite comfy. The food was very delicious and nicely priced, with a wide selection of drinks (hot or cold) and cocktails. There is a supermarket next door to the Babzen, so with the fridge supplied in your room, you can fill it up to your hearts content. They also offered a laundry service, were I had all of my clothes washed and dried within a couple of hours. What made the Babzen over exceed my expectation though was the staff! Always very welcoming and went above and beyond to make me happy and feel at home! Just after a few days of being there, I already felt like I'd knew them for years. They always asked me if I were okay and always happy to have a chat. For the social media fans/techies, the wifi was great and quite fast! Would I stay here again? Hell yes! Already thinking about booking there next year!
