We had an overall very enjoyable stay at Black Rock Mountain Resort. The staff throughout the resort was attentive, welcoming, and consistently professional, which made a great impression from check-in onward. Despite the surrounding construction, the property itself felt modern, clean, and well maintained.
Breakfast at Overlook Restaurant was delicious and a highlight of our stay. Our server, Patrick, was especially attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable.
There were a few opportunities for improvement. We had to request additional towels multiple times to match the number of guests in our room. The bed in the bedroom had a noticeable divot in the middle, which made sleeping less comfortable than expected during a relaxing vacation. We also experienced some late-night and early-morning noise from the room above, where a child was running back and forth, which disrupted rest.
Overall, the service and cleanliness stood out positively, and with a few adjustments, this resort has the potential to offer an even more exceptional guest experience.
